Popis: Effect of chromate and chromate-free and their compositions on the protective properties of organic coatings on cyclically stressed aluminum alloys was studied. Strontium chromate pigment, zinc phosphate pigment, calcium ion exchange silica pigment, natural bentonite, natural zeolite and Ca-ion exchanged and Zn-ion exchanged zeolites were studied as aluminum alloy corrosion inhibitors in organic coatings. Experimental methods included electrochemical impedance spectroscopy method (EIS), DC polarization, optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) with EDX analysis, corrosion fatigue and tribocorrosion tests.
