Popis: | The resolution of norgestrel enantiomers using cyclodextrin inclusion complexation was investigated. For the purity testing of levonorgestrel the separation method was optimized with regard to the simultaneous determination of enantiomeric and non-isomeric impurities at low concentrations. The dependence of the selectivity and efficiency of the separation on the nature and concentration of the organic solvent (methanol or acetonitrile) in the eluent and on column temperature was studied in order to establish the optimal conditions for the separation. The optimal method was validated and proved to be suitable for the determination as little as 0.1% of enantiomeric impurity in levonorgestrel. |
