Popis:	Invasive species impact DOD's ability to conduct its training, testing, and deployment missions. This article will explain what invasives are, discuss the impacts invasives are having generally and for the military in particular, provide specific examples of instances where invasives are impacting DOD's mission, and briefly describe what actions DOD is taking to address the problem in ways that benefit both biodiversity and mission needs. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
