Popis: | This article analyzes the known techniques of calculating the energy intensity of continuous hot rolling of broad steel strips. The analysis is used to propose new rolling modes to ensure better energy efficiency by considering the influence of the partial cold work of the strip’s material on the energy consumption. The proposed modes were tested and adopted in the continuous finishing train of rolling mill 2000. |
