Museum expositions, exhibitions, and botanical gardens visiting is an important component of training geoecologists at the Department of Environmental Management at the faculty of geography, Lomonosov Moscow state University. Educational and enlightening roles of expositions, familiarization with which is a part of lecture courses in Moscow and field practice in the Moscow region, the Crimea and the Kola Peninsula, are discussed in details. The list of exhibition expositions is given; their educational functions and subjects are examined. Ability, importance and efficiency of outside speaking engagement programs without any changing of timetable during the lecture course are emphasized here. The authors stress such goals of the field stage of education as study of natural characteristics, review of the main types of natural resources management (historical, traditional and modern), cultural and patriotic education. |
