Wireless Sensor Networks are the wireless networks which contain spatially speckled autonomous devices (sensors) to monitor the physical conditions and ecological parameters. Power consumption, hardware malfunctioning and ecological conditions results in the failure of nodes in Wireless Sensor Networks. Fault discrepancy is the major problem in WSNs. This paper gives the advantages of PSO algorithm over GA (Genetic Algorithm) by comparing the parameters using Network Simulator version 2. This will replace the sensor node with more reused routing paths also increases the number of active nodes. Reduce the rate of data loss with reduced energy consumption. |
