In this work we analyzed the technical feasibilit y of the biodiesel production from babassu as raw material. Currently, the main usefulness of the bab assu consists of the vegetable oil production, for culinary and industrial purposes. However, it was observed that the physiochemical properties of the babassu oil, a llied with its composition, lead to obtaining high quality biodies el. In addition, the residues of the babassu coconu t can be aggregated monetary values, to enriching the productive chain of babassu biodiesel. |
