Popis: A study has been made to determine the influence of the difference between the distance object-system under calibration and the one at real work conditions on the accuracy of the temperature measurement with infrared systems. A theory of the influence of this difference on the errors of the temperature measurement for any measurement condition and system parameter has been developed. The results of the following calculation have shown that the errors of the remote temperature measurement due to this source can be significant
