Popis: Radio thin-layer chromatography (TLC) is used extensively in drug metabolism studies to provide quantitative information on the metabolic fate of radiolabelled compounds. Radio-TLC analyzers are the instruments of choice for this purpose and are basically gas-ionisation detectors with a positional element (the delay line) that can analyze a whole track at a time (see, for example. Filthuth 1986[1] for a description of the design of such instruments).
