Popis:	Most of the night vision electro-optical instruments are utilising image intensifier based systems. Binocular type systems used for providing 3-D effect suffer from unmatched and uneven brightness in the two oculars. In present state of art Biocular type eye pieces are being used for 3-D effect, where both eyes see through same large aperture eye piece. For quantitative performance evaluation of Biocular system, different experimental set ups are in use to evaluate resolution, biocular overlap, distortion and F. O. V. The present paper reports a simple set up for the evaluation of all the aforesaid parameters of elbow type as well as line of sight type biocular eye piece.
