Popis: | This work reports an effective strategy to regulate the adsorption and separation performances in metal–organic frameworks. Through a covalent modification method, strongly acidic –SO3H groups were introduced into MIL-101-NH2 to modify the surface charge property. Based on the contrary electrostatic interactions, the resulting MIL-101-N-SO3H-A/B exhibited significantly reversed adsorption and separation performances for ionic pollutants.
