Popis: | The K1c criterion can be used efficiently to evaluate the mechanical properties of the silicide layers; we determined the conditions of local brittle fracture and showed the applicability of the method of determining K1c on the basis of the length of the cracks formed at the tips of the microhardness indentations. It was also shown as possible to estimate selectively the brittle strength on the basis of pairs of cracks formed in two mutually perpendicular directions. |
