Popis: | In the last decade, the main functions of silicon in plant growing have been actively discussed - strengthening the physicochemical properties and biochemical processes in plants, protecting plants from biotic and abiotic stresses. The aim of this work is to study the effect of a silicon-containing preparation on the biometric parameters of spring wheat grown under abiotic stress. A silicon-containing preparation, designated BoHum-S, was obtained on the basis of a humic preparation BoHum and a water-soluble silicon salt - sodium metasilicate, with a SiO2 content of 28%. A study was conducted of the preparation containing 0.05, 0.1, 0.5 and 2.5% of the mass. concentration for SiO2. BoHum-S was used for pre-sowing seed treatment and spraying of spring wheat seedlings against the background of modeling two types of water stress: drought and waterlogging. The greatest effect of the drug on the biometric parameters of spring wheat was observed when using BoHum-S with a silicon oxide content of 0.1%, the effect of which should be considered a synergistic effect, composed of the properties of humic acids and silicon. In general, the advantage of spraying seedlings over soaking seeds was revealed, expressed in a higher frequency of reliable increases in biometric indicators of wheat seedlings. |
