Popis:	The appeal of youth and beauty has existed since the beginning of time. Cervicofacial rhytidectomy is a frequently used procedure for rejuvenation of the face. Malar implants have been used to increase the dimensions of the hypoplastic midface. This article reviews the history of these procedures and describes the concomitant use of malar implants to enhance the rejuvenation gained by the face-lift. Two case reports are included.
