Popis: The present paper substantiates the urgency of the problem of selecting the parameters and characteristics of storage elements for their efficient use in the systems of continuous and uninterruptible power supply for industrial consumers. The paper discloses the main fields of application of storage elements in power supply systems of industrial facilities as well as specifies the main stages of performing tests. The paper discloses a methodology for tests performance and experimental data processing. The paper also presents the results of experimental studies of the parameters and characteristics of lead-acid storage batteries. The analysis of the obtained results has been carried out in order to identify critical mismatching between the actual parameters of storage devices and the characteristics, specified in the technical documentation.
