Popis: | The authors describe the conceptualization, development, implementation and refinement of a faith community-based initiative to train clergy and lay leaders to respond appropriately to domestic violence within faith communities, to strengthen ties to local secular providers of DV services, and to promote effective prevention, identification, intervention, and treatment of domestic violence in congregations throughout the Winston-Salem, NC area. Results from focus groups conducted with program participants are presented, along with lesson learned and recommendations for future efforts. |
