| Popis: | In tumor pathology of the lung, not many precursor lesions are known. There is squamous metaplasia and dysplasia for squamous cell carcinoma, atypical adenomatous hyperplasia and bronchiolar columnar cell dysplasia, goblet cell dysplasia, cystadenomas for different types of adenocarcinoma, and finally neuroendocrine hyperplasia and tumorlet for carcinoids. For many more lung carcinomas, no precursor is known. Similarly for malignant mesenchymal tumors of the lung, no precursors are known. Here we present those precursor lesions, which are encountered regularly in lung pathology. |
