Popis: | The self-demagnetization effect (SDE) in bonded magnets (BMs), which are compacted with ferromagnetic particles embedded in a binder medium, was investigated by means of the numerical computation. It is shown that the self-demagnetization factor N is dependent not only on the shape but also the granular structure of bonded magnets. The calculated factor N is determined as a function of the magnet shape, mass density and particle orientation. And also the influences of the self-demagnetization effect on the characterization of bonded magnets are discussed. (© 2008 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim) |
