Popis: | We present a kinetic model to describe the recently observed magneto-chiral enantioselective photochemistry when irradiating with unpolarized light and applying a static magnetic field. The model shows that both true and cascaded magneto-chiral enantioselective photochemistry occur and yields expressions for their respective magnitudes. Comparison of the predictions of our model with the experimental results shows good agreement. |
