Popis: | A 74-year-old male patient diagnosed as apocrine adenocarcinoma of Moll’s gland origin of right eyelid is presented. After aggressive excision of the tumor, the orbital skin defects were reconstructed with a combination of a median forehead advancement flap and a V-Y advancement flap from the buccal region. This was followed by cover with a split thickness skin graft from the thigh. The right orbit was subjected to radiotherapy because of microscopic tumor invasion of the optic nerve. This tumor showed aggressive biological behavior with involvement of extraocular muscles, nasolacrimal ducts, and the optic nerve. |
