A real-time data assimilation and verification system will be implemented by the Measurement of Air Pollution from Satellites (MAPS) tropospheric carbon monoxide experiment during the SRL-1 space shuttle mission that is scheduled for June 1992. This complex system includes a dedicated data communication network, near real-time data processing, and a correlative measurement program. |
