Popis: | The influence of charge injection induced by an electric field on the optical absorption of -sexithiophene () thin films is studied. The analysis of this electro-modulated absorption (EMA) at variable incidence angle and wavelength enables us to determine the various contributions in the stratified structure (metal/insulator/semiconductor). EMA enhancement at 1.5 eV can be unambiguously assigned to the radical cation . Owing to the difference of energy level for aluminium and gold electrodes, charge injection occurs in the dark in the case of gold, while it needs to be photo-assisted in the case of aluminium. |
