Popis: | Drone relay is an emergent technology for future wireless communications. It is a relay mounted on the drone that can provide a new channel for signal transmitting. The promised gains of drone relays depend on the accuracy alignment between the antenna platform and the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), since the beam width is quite narrow. In this paper, we propose a novel alignment system for the antenna and the drone based on the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) neural network. Making use of Global Positioning System (GPS) data and Inertial Measuring Unit (IMU) data, we show how to apply a neural network to predict the position of the drone and then drive motors on the antenna platform to align with it. Numerical results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed alignment system. |
