The high prevalence of psychosocial health problems among children in middle childhood (ages six to13 years old) is a growing global predicament. The need to recognise the children's psychological resources and social environment is crucial. To address this escalating health issue, we need effective interventions that can engage children towards psychosocial health literacy and the promotion of health behaviour. Digital approaches like gamification, when focused on health, can offer child-friendly and tailored health-promoting strategies. In order to design a gamified intervention that can foster the psychosocial health of children, a scoping review will be conducted to depict existing body of evidence as well as describe its nature and characteristics for promoting the psychosocial health of children. |
