Popis: | Touch panel sensing technologies are popular for application in the field of input devices to replace functional devices such as keyboards and mouse devices in the near future. Electrodes and tracks in a layout for touch sensing functionality were necessary in the design and development phase of all touch devices. However, design changes happened, as usual, and this caused urgency in the timeline. In the case of touch sensor manufacturing currently, both in design houses and manufacturers’ designs, drawings are mostly done manually, not automatically. Designers use such drawing tools as AutoCAD to create tens of thousands of 3–30 μm wide signal track layouts to meet the requirements of brand customers. But relying on humans to create such designs manually has a high cost in human manpower and requires a long design time. Thus, in the present paper we propose a method to shorten design time and minimum manual design efforts of engineers in such endeavors as layout designs for projection capacitance metal mesh touch sensors. |
