Popis: Summary In a test series a number of investigations concerning noise emission according to the German technical Norm (DIN) have been carried out in order to find out whether music therapists are exposed to harmful noise levels. Even when peak emissions was above the relevant tolerance, seen over time of a working day, there is no obligation to protect hearing from on the part of the employer - according to german laws. Interviews revealed that music therapists have a good judgement on whether a patient is playing too loud. Hereby we can conclude that they are able to care for their hearing themselves - which is important as individual patients exceeded noise damage prevention limits.
