Popis: | We consider L 2-weak solutions to the Navier–Stokes system in a 3D exterior domain. Under the assumptions that the initial data decrease as $${O( |x|^{-\mu})}$$ when $${|x| \to \infty}$$ , for some $${\mu \geq 7/6}$$ , and that the volume force decays sufficiently fast, we show that the velocity decreases pointwise with the rate $${O(\, |x|^{-\min\{\mu ,13/5\}})}$$ for $${|x| \to \infty}$$ , uniformly with respect to time. |
