| Popis: | In response to parents’ requests for information and training, a series of workshops were offered through the University of Utah Department of Special Education. The major goals of the workshops were to help parents become more knowledgeable about their gifted children, to provide skills for working effectively with school personnel, and to increase advocacy for gifted education. A discussion and role playing format was used with specific content elicited from participants. Data gathered from three recent workshops indicate some positive outcomes of the workshop. |
