| Popis: | Despite extensive testing, many radiology departments are reluctant to perform MRI scans on patients fitted with cochlear or auditory brain stem implants.In house testing was performed on the three models of cochlear implants supported by our centre, to verify the manufacturer's MRI compatibility data.We present the results from our in house testing and 25 patients with implants that have undergone MR imaging. |
