Popis: In this paper, to support any-host mobility, we propose a generalized solution to geo-locator based forwarding for information centric networks (ICN), by integrating low-latency adaptiveness of blind forwarding with hierarchical efficacy of intelligent label-based forwarding. Proposed solution assumes a multi-layered network architecture with each location being serviced by multiple carriers and/or service providers, and multi-homed devices. By operating on the actual geo-locator tags, our approach is capable of reducing in-network processing of dynamic location information to specifically support in-session mobility scenarios. Furthermore, by allowing secured geo-locator tags to be carried by both requests and content objects, we achieve an almost instant tracking of mobile devices, without relying on adaptive mobility support from the network (for instance, through the use of anchors) during an active session, while addressing the security concerns of end host tracking and preserving the privacy of end hosts.
