Popis: | Street dimming light systems have been proposed in many studies for energy saving. Based on this fact, this paper investigates the possibility of desired schemes of light dimming based on lookup table process and presents a comparative analysis in terms of electronic design and power enhancement with respect to each scheme. Pulse width modulation technique is adopted though a Boost DC-DC converter to provide the required load voltage for dimming purpose through a designed lookup data sequence with respect to the dimming trend. MATLAB/Simulink is used to simulate the proposed schemes, and to deliver the desired dimming shape for LED lamp 48V of rated power 90W. Simulation results clarify each dimming scheme compared to the conventional scheme in terms of enhancing the load power, and the effectiveness of the light dimming principle, and how avoiding the load power spikes during transition instants from dimming level to full load level. |
