Popis: | Results of laboratory and pilot-plant studies relating to the use of high-alumina slag obtained in the production of chromium metal in the technology of aluminosilicate refractories are presented. The following are recommended for management of the production of aluminosilicate articles based on clay stock enriched with chromium metal slag: use of slag with Al2O3 content at least 77% and CaO content at most 8%; complete incoming control of the slag; and operational correction as a function of the chemical composition of the slag, the physical composition of the charge, and the roasting conditions. |
