Popis: This paper presents a way to produce purified water with the same quality from the conventional water distiller and the advantage of saving energy and cooling water. Purified water was obtained by air dehumidifying with the aid of a heat pump and an adiabatic humidification system. The designed equipment is composed of two parts: a vapor compression heat pump and a chamber where the recirculated air gets humidified.
