Popis:	The use of an internal standard to quantitatively estimate the polymer content of fatty acid ester samples has been described and evaluated. Standard samples of known composition have been prepared and analyzed. The mean of the deviations from actual polymer values was found to be less than one per cent. The application of this approach to the analysis of partially polymerized oils is discussed.
