Popis: This work is devoted to the analysis of the magnetic system of an axial type homopolar machine with high-temperature (HTS) field winding. This machine works as motor/generator of flywheel energy storage system with integrated design, when motor/generator is combined with flywheel. For the analysis we used numerical calculations of electromagnetic field based on the integral equation method. The characteristics of electromagnetic torque and electromotive force in no-load mode are calculated and analyzed.
