Popis: Buying library materials for a country far distant from the principal sources of publication presents specific problems and needs different solutions. In New Zealand during the early 1960s there were not only distance problems but fmancial and procedural problems. This report of the responses from the National Library Service not only highlight these problems but throw some light on the difficulties presently facing third world countries.
