Popis: | In the context of high T c superconductors, discussed is the role of the Kondo effect in the formation of coherent bands near the Fermi surface. It is suggested that superconductivity occurs in a region where the stripe phase and the single ion Kondo effect fight for control of a quantum critical point. |
