Popis:	A new approach to crosswell imaging is presented using a forward model in terms of propagation and local transmission operators The proposed model is similar to that of the already existing model for surface reflection seismics (‘WRW). The model leads to a migration like scheme. Two examples show the application of crosswell migration in inhomogeneous media. transmission data Using this approach it is possible to image detailed structures for the crosswell transmission case by applying seismic migration using forward and inverse wavefield extrapolation.
