Popis: | This paper proposes a Maximum Power Point Technique (MPPT) that estimates effectively the Maximum Power Point (MPP) when a sudden change of load occurs under variable solar irradiation. The proposed technique is based on an algorithm which is combined with the conventional Perturb and Observe (P&O) method. A variable profile of solar irradiation is applied in the input of the photovoltaic system with subjecting the load to abrupt variations. As a result, the photovoltaic system always works at the MPP even if the solar irradiation and the load change simultaneously. The system reveals a better performance in terms of efficiency, time response and accuracy to reach and track the Maximum Power Point. |
