Popis: The Killerod Fm (“Bronnii beds” or “Coscinorinus limestone”) is a thin, but distinctive formation in the Middle Ordovician, upper Uhakuan Stage, in SW Scania (Skane), the southernmost province of Sweden. It is c. 70 cm thick and consists of alternating grey microcrystalline limestone and blue‐grey shaly mudstone. The Killerod Fm is richly fossiliferous and has yielded a fairly extensive fauna consisting mainly of trilobites, but also of brachiopods, conodonts, and ostracodes. The trilobite fauna is dominated by the trinucleid trilobites Botrioides bronnii and B. efflorescens. Other trilobites are Arthrorhachis sp., Bronteopsis concentrica, Lonchodomas rostratus, Nileus platys, Platycalymene dila‐tata, Platycalymenel sp., Pseudomegalaspis patagiata, Remopleurides sp., and Telephina aff. granulate This fauna bears a close resemblance to those of the lower Anderso Shale in Jamtland, central Sweden, and the upper Elnes Fm in the Oslo Region, Norway. It is concluded that the trilobite fauna of the Kil...
