Evaluation of Beauveria Bassiana and Sevin 4-Oil for Rangeland Grasshopper Control, 1993

Popis:	The performance of B. bassiana as a bioinsecticide of rangeland grasshoppers was compared to Sevin 4-Oil. Experimental plots were 40 acres located in Slope County, ND. Each treatment was replicated 4 times arranged in a CRD. B. bassiana and Sevin were aerially applied on 10 and 11 Jul 1993, respectively. Grasshopper densities were estimated with the use of 0.1 m2 aluminum rings. Near the center of each plot, 40 rings were placed 5 m apart in a 64 m diam circle.
