Popis: The phase shift magnetic field effect technique is applied for investigation of the chemiluminescent (ChL) reaction of luminol oxidation by potassium ferricyanide in aqueous alkali solution. The external modulated magnetic field changed the rate constant of recombination of luminol radicals. Rate constants of intermediate stages of the reaction are obtained: 108 M−1 s−1 for diazaquinone reaction with hydrogen peroxide, 2 X 106 M−1 s−1 for diazaquinone hydrolysis and 2 X 105 s−1 for the decomposition of hydroperoxide, which is a precursor of the light emitter.
