This publication provides an account of educational outcomes assessment activity undertaken by seven assessment teams under the Phase II Charter of the Dean of the Faculty's Educational Outcomes Assessment Working Group. Data from thirty five core academic courses were examined and rated as to their absolute contributions to each of three educational outcomes: integrated knowledge, critical thinking, and intellectual curiosity. Background instruments, raw data, team reports, assessed contribution ratings, and meta analyses are included as separate chapters. The final chapter includes conclusions and implications for unit self assessment, curricular reform, and further research. |
