Popis:	Industrial organisations tend to obtain competitive advantage by reaching economies of scale on a global market. But world-wide competition leads to new organisational challenges with respect to communication and cooperation issues. The ability to master communication and cooperation skills is a key factor for success. The authors of this paper have studied traceability issues over several years within the European aerospace industry. This paper summarizes some of the important results and gives an overview over the contribution of organisational traceability for the creation of an integrated documentation and life cycle management.
