Popis: Our Kerr-lens mode-locked Yb:CALGO laser oscillator generates 93-fs pulses in 6.9-W and 48-fs pulses in 4.1-W at 1-GHz repetition rate. These are the shortest pulse duration and highest average power of any GHz-class Yb-based oscillator.
