Popis: | This paper investigates the characteristics of the resulting electromagnetic force of the asymmetric-paths winding which is a new structure for the design of the stator windings. In addition, a novel optimization evaluation considering force characteristics is proposed to reduce the fluctuation of the resulting electromagnetic forces of total slots. By validation of the design of a large hydro-generator, the results show that the proposed evaluation can reflect the electromagnetic force characteristics effectively and the optimized design presents a better total force performance. This paper provides a new idea and support for the optimization design of the asymmetric-paths windings. |
