| Popis: | Hamstring muscles are the most frequent sites of muscle injury in professional and recreational athletes. As clinical evaluation alone is often insufficient to determine appropriate treatment and prognosis, imaging studies, particularly ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging, play key roles in the assessment of hamstring lesions. In this chapter, we will describe the anatomy of the hamstring muscle complex and imaging findings of hamstring injuries. A brief overview of treatment options for hamstring injuries will also be given. |
