Some recent results with nonneutral plasmas

Popis:	Two examples of recent research using pure electron plasmas are discussed. Various phenomena of two-dimensional fluid dynamics were investigated including vortex dynamics, vortex merger, shear-induced instability, and the decay of turbulence. In a second series of experiments, the rate at which the temperatures parallel and perpendicular to a magnetic field relax to a common value has been measured over a very wide range in temperatures and magnetic fields.
