The aim of this study is to investigate whether homeowners in Germany with a photovoltaic system cause a rebound effect in contrast to homeowners without one. In addition, the question of whether an effect of the environmental behavior of homeowners with a photovoltaic system, i.e. prosumers, is mediated by moral licensing will be investigated. It will also be investigated whether there is a connection between the duration of ownership of a photovoltaic system and a potentially occurring rebound effect. |
