This chapter describes our application of three-dimensional printing technology in medical training and simulation as well as in the development of novel surgical tools. We outline our experience in craniofacial surgery modeling and the intraoperative use of prefabricated templates in cranial reshaping. The process of creating silicone models of various anatomical organs is described, and their use in different training scenarios such as pyeloplasty, neurosurgery, and cleft lip, and palate are discussed. |
